ON WEDNESDAY 8TH MAY 2013, TERRY SLATER OF ACAD WILL BE EXHIBITING THE ALERT PROJECT AT THE BMTA'S 'ASBESTOS MANAGEMENT IN SCHOOLS & PUBLIC BUILDINGS' EVENT AT YEW LODGE HOTEL IN KEGWORTH.

This is the 4th event put on by the BMTA (British Measuring & Testing Association) in conjunction with MIS Environmental designed for asbestos pracitioners and councils and local authorities dealing with asbestos. 

The issue of asbestos materials in schools and public buildings is emotive, sometimes perceived as secretive and is always controversional. This seminar is organised and will take place seeking to explore the background and issues of asbestos in such buildings and to explain the technical processes of preparing and operating asbestos management plans and policies.

ACAD will be exhibiting their services and will be raising awareness of the Alert Project and networking to create new opportunities for the Alert Detector.
